Universities
Applying to university
Apply to each autonomous university separately between February and March, with A-Level results, a polytechnic GPA or an IB diploma. Grade profiles and graduate outcomes help you weigh degrees.
For: A-Level, IB and polytechnic graduates, and working adults applying to SIT or SUSS.
Compare degrees by outcome
The Graduate Employment Survey gives employment rate and median starting pay for every degree, every year.

Universities publish the 10th to 90th percentile of admitted students by programme. Treat it as a guide, not a cut-off.
NTU grade profile →Apply in the windows
A-Level applicants apply from results day (late February) to about mid-March; polytechnic applicants from January to February. Each university has its own portal and a small fee.
MOE university admissions →Aptitude-based admission
Up to 15% of places are offered on portfolio, interview or test rather than grades alone. Ask the faculty; deadlines are the same.
Offers, tuition grant and loans
Offers come from May. Citizens and PRs sign a tuition grant to pay subsidised fees; bursaries and the Tuition Fee Loan cover the rest.
Common questions
- How many universities can I apply to?
- All six, and it is common to apply to three or four. Each has a separate application and fee.
- Where are NUS and SMU grade profiles?
- On their own admissions sites; they are not published in a form this site can import yet, so only NTU's is shown here.
