Student Care Fee Assistance

SCFA subsidises student care fees for children aged 7 to 14 at MSF-registered centres when both parents (or a single parent) work at least 56 hours a month and gross household income is within the ceiling: $4,500 (per-capita $1,125) in 2026, rising to $6,500 (per-capita $1,625) from January 2027. Subsidy tiers are modelled on MSF's published bands; the exact amount depends on the income tier and the centre's fee. From 2027 the assistance period also extends from 24 to 36 months. Apply via SupportGoWhere; MSF's letter is authoritative.
